Notre Dame Motors Ltd. is a growing third generation farm equipment dealership located in Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB.  Notre Dame Motors supplies the Manitoba agriculture market with the sales, parts and service of the world class brands of Massey Ferguson, Versatile, Manitou, Krone and MacDon.

 

We are seeking to add a full-time permanent Agricultural Equipment Technician to our team.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Diagnose and inspect equipment for faults and/or malfunctions

Repair and adjust equipment and replace defective parts – in-shop and in-field

Perform updates, pre-delivery inspections and pre-season inspections

Complete work orders and enter technician notes

Work extended hours as required

Participate in all product related training

Keep a clean and orderly works

paceInteract with fellow employees and customers in a professional, respectful and courteous manner

Report to Service Manager

 

Qualifications:

 

Journeyman Agriculture or Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification preferred, but open to accepting applicants with equivalent experience and no certification.  

 

Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of agricultural equipment

 

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems

 

Valid driver’s license and clear abstract

 

Ability to use computers to support diagnostics

 

Excellent communication skills, oral & writtenTeam worker

Greet customers

Assist customers with the products and service they need

Answer the phone calls relating to customers parts requests

Complete sales transactions and product quotes

Maintain Inventory and assist in keeping the showroom clean and organized

Assist in the maintenance and management of the parts inventory

paceInteract with fellow employees and customers in a professional, respectful and courteous manner

Be willing to operate a fork lift

 

Qualifications:

 

General knowledge of farm equipment

 

Valid driver’s license

 

Ability to use computers

 

Excellent communication skills, oral & written

 

Team worker
